The KidsLove their Pop.

Last Sunday we went out to the farm probably for the last time this year. It's not so much fun when it is cold and muddy. When we got there Pop and Uncle Bob were there cutting logs and picking up. Aedan and Ella love their Pop. This is pop taking them on a cruise on the 4 wheeler. Aedan likes to steer.
This is Mommy and Ella walking away from the goats and llama. Ella likes the baby goat but she thinks the big ones stink.

This is a picture of Aedan and uncle Bob fighting. Uncle Bob really pesters Aedan until he gets mad. Aedan then gets mad and goes back to playing. Aedan really likes his uncle Bob...sometimes.

Finally Ella giving a kiss.

Halloween and Cleveland

We decided to got to Cleveland the weekend prior to Halloween to see the family and to go to Boo at the Zoo at the Cleveland Zoo, http://www.clemetzoo.com/. It was a very nice weekend except for the trip home it became rainy. this is picture from the van of Progressive field, formerly Jacob's field.
Ella was a Purdue cheerleader. I didn't want to tell her that they aren't so good. There's always basketball.

Aedan was Iron Man. Here he is as Tony Stark, Billionaire Bachelor.

Then this is his suit he forgot the boots. His Achilles heel. Sorry that was bad. We had a great time in Cleveland. So much fun we forgot to take a lot of pictures. We had a good Halloween but again forgot to take pictures.

Millenium Pumpkin Patch

On Saturday we went pumpkin hunting. We decide to take a little excursion(gas is getting cheap) out of Tippecanoe county and into Benton County. We saw a pumpkin patch that had some fun stuff for the kids to do. It was the Millennium Farms near Benton central schools underneath the windmills. I thought the windmills were the coolest thing. But i guess i was in the minority for that. Aedan thought the inflatable bouncing castle was the best. Ella liked the pony ride and Courtney liked me(but that is just what i thought, you should probably ask her).
We let Aedan and Ella pick out their own pumpkins. Ella liked them all and Aedan was very specific in what he wanted. It was a beautiful autumn day and we couldn't ask for a nicer time. It was a lot of fun but we will probable explore some other pumpkin patch next year(if you have any good hints let us know).
Ella was a first a little reserved about riding the pony. But as soon as it started she was smiling and giggling the whole ride. I'm smiling too because I know I'm stepping in pony poop.
This was Aedan on the tractor ride.
Finally this is a good picture of Courtney that was ruined because i can't smile. I'm going for Old and Sexy what i got was old and nerdy. I guess I stick to what we know. We will be in Cleveland next weekend and then home for Halloween. So we should have some good pics for new updates.
Take care everybody.

Swimming, The Farm, and around the house

Aedan has had swimming lessons at McCutcheon that past two weeks. He started off afraid of the water and needed to be held but by the end of the two weeks he jumped off the diving board(with floaties and the instructor). He did a good job but there are some things he needs to work on.

Last weekend we went out to the farm for a Corbin family party. Yes the same farm we always talk about. It's still loads of fun. The picture of Ella is on a motorcycle with her "cheese" face. When you say cheese Ella will sometimes give you the biggest smile and squint her eyes. It's pretty funny.

And then finally around the house. It's been a busy few weeks and sometimes we don't get to leave the house. So we decided to take some pictures so everyone can see. See you later.

Do You Know What Today Is?

Well it's Courtney and Jeremy McGurr's anniversary. we got married in Vegas in 2005. My brothers and now Chris' wife came out to witness this joyous occasion. Many of you were at the reception prior to the wedding and we thank you.
This was at The Chapel of Love and looks great. It was a lot of fun and i would recommend this type of ceremony to anyone who does t want a big wedding.
Well thank you all for your well wishes. They're will be more pictures of the kids later.

Happy Hallow

The other day when we were both off work we decided to go over to the west side for lunch and a trip to the park(happy hallow park). We decided to grab some food and make a little picnic. Courtney and I got gyros. I've been craving them and when your on the west side you can't go wrong with The Parthenon. The kids had McDonalds. So we packed up our bags and headed west, just like the pioneers.
It was such a nice autumn day, sunny not too hot. Just a nice day. We got to happy hallow and lots of others had our idea(well maybe not get gyros but to go to the park). So we had our lunch and headed to the playground. Aedan likes running around and going down sliding down the curly slide. Ella likes grabbing mulch and walking around. Ella also likes to follow Aedan and do what Aedan does. Aedan does not like Ella following him around or playing with what his is playing with. This is were the fun begins. But on this occasion all of the McGurrs were good. Ella likes going down the slide but doesn't like to show it.
We were lucky enough to get a picture of the two kids on a bouncy alligator. Ella prefers to ride without Aedan. Well were all getting a little warm from playing and running around.

Well goodbye for now. We hope to have pictures from picking out pumpkins. And Halloween is not too far around the corner.

Back to Cool, I mean school

This past week Aedan started Pre-school at Jack and Jill. He's been a night owl for most of his life but for the last few weeks he has been going to bed by nine(his new bed time). He was a little nervous because of all the new faces but he had a great time and likes to go back. This first look is him with his backpack going to his first day of school. He's got the same look i had for most of my life going to school or for that fact waking up earlier than i want.
When back to school comes around it means one thing-football. Being a Purdue alum I'm a boilermaker fan. I also try to brainwash my children to like what i like. Here is Ella dressed up as a boilermaker cheerleader, a present she got from my Dad. I'm not sure if Ella likes football but i know she likes spending time with me(watching football).
This picture is a from a little bit ago. Piercing blue eyes like her brother and father.
This last photo is from a couple years ago. this is one of Courtney's favorite. It's taken at Purdue behind the Union on the mounds. It almost looks like Aedan is floating. The McGurrs say good look to you all going to school and Go Boilers.
