Happy mother's day to all that are out there. Hopefully you treated your mother nicely. I wanted to share my mother with you as well. She has been gone for awhile but not forgotten. She used to be all that was on my mind but now sometimes I feel that i sometimes neglect her. i also feel like some of you might have known her better and i get sad thinking that I'm missing something that i should have been apart of. I don't think that i need to say it but i loved my mother. I wasn't always the best son(no really it's true). I wanted to post these memories or pictures to remember the better times because sometimes i only remember the bad.
This is one of my favorite pictures. It was taken in August of 1998. Dustin and I were taking a road trip to Cooperstown and we stopped in to see my mom in Cleveland. We took a few pictures and i thought it would be funny if wore my Mom's wig. She said she always wanted to be a blond and that's why she got that color wig. We talked right around my birthday and she said she was sorry she didn't get me anything or sent a card. She was said she was so happy to see me and couldn't wait to see me again. I told not worry about getting me anything.

She was always the cool, fashionable Mom. I wish that i was that cool. I just wanted to say happy mother's day today and that we really miss you.

Love,
Jeremy

Vacation(i'll i ever wanted)

After Easter, I was on vacation and we wanted to do something fun but not break the bank our cross timezones. So we down to Indianapolis and stayed at the Holiday Inn with Caribbean Cove(Indoor water park) and to go to the children's museum. The water park was awesome, Ella wasn't as thrilled as the rest of us. She found it to be too loud and crowded. We barely left the kid's area with the pirate ship. I'd recommend it if you get the time.

If you are an avid reader of this blog you already know we've been to the Indianapolis Children's Museum. But it has some new exhibits like Lego Castle and Star wars Clone Wars. And if you know Aedan(or me), that's right up our alley. The first picture is of a Dragon that is completely made of Legos, awesome. In the castle exhibit they had many different(real) castles made of legos. But the draw to Aedan was the lego stations that you could build castles. If it was up to him he would of stayed there all day. Ella preferred the slide in that exhibit. Ella enjoyed the water room the best. That is just an apron not a lead vest, she is being protected from water not harmful x-rays.

On the bottom floor of the museum was the Star Wars Clone Wars exhibit. it had a lot of props and costumes from the the new star wars trilogy. It also had a bunch of art from the animated series. Ella looking at Jabba.

Here is Aedan in front of Jango's helmet. I told him Jango's head was still in it and he looked up into it(It's not), if you don't know what I'm talking about watch Episode II.

Aedan was excited that he was taller than Master Yoda.

Here are two Bad M.F.s. The museum was great again. It is going through some renovation but in no way does it hinder the experience.

Finally the Kids were at rest. Coming home is always nice

Easter

I know, I know it's been awhile but here are some photos from Easter. We went Courtney's grandmother Dowell's for brunch and the Easter egg hunt. It turned out to be a great day. Here are Aedan and Ella with their cousins Daniel and Jordan.
This Aedan grabbing eggs. He had a blast and enjoyed the bubbles. He is good at reading his name and Ella's name.

This is Ella in her Easter dress soaking up the sun. Looking for eggs not having a lot of luck.

And finally getting ready. Easter turned out great but the only thing missing for me was a Ham.

Well long time no see(or hear). We haven't posted in awhile but we haven't heard that it's been missed so my belief is nobody sees this. So if there is anybody out there, Hello. Aedan and Ella say high and hope spring is coming. The winter's been long and hope's of leaving the house would be great.

Ella doesn't like pictures when she's eating. And since she eats all the time, no pictures.

We missed valentine's day but here is Courtney with her valentine.

This is Ella and aedan on the porch on a beautiful St. Patrick's day. That reminds me of one of my favorite jokes. "have I ever told you about the Irish Girl I dated that always sat on the porch? Patty O' Furniture." Hilarious.

And speaking of an Irish Lass, sorry typo Irish Ass.

New Day, New Year, New pictures

Nothing special just wanted to put up some pictures up. Just us around the house. Courtney and aedan playing leapster. Aedan and Jeremy cheesing for the camera. And Ella taking a bath. Happy new year's to everyone.

Oppa and Purdue basketball

The weekend after Christmas Oppa(my Dad) came to town. Aedan and ella love their Oppa. They don't get to see him much but they always have a good time with him. Aedan was still playing with is toys from Santa.
We went to Toys r Us and El rodeo for dinner. It was a good weekend. My dad bought tickets to the Purdue v. Valpo game. I already went to a game this year and i always enjoy going. Aedan though has never been to basketball game.

Aedan wasn't as excited as my dad or me but when we got popcorn he seemed to enjoy it better.

This was tipoff. It was good to see Purdue win. I don't always have the best of luck at purdue sporting events.

It's Christmas

Well the holiday season has hit Lafayette. Santa stopped by and dropped off a lot of fun stuff for Aedan and Ella. We all woke up after a long night at Grandma's house last night. Ella got the Mickey Mouse clubhouse, some books, a plush Mickey, Minnie and goofy for the clubhouse and some bottles for her babies. She really liked the baby bottles(see below). Aedan got a Leapster, Lego Star Wars for the Wii, more star wars guys, some books, two star wars mighty muggs, and a batmobile. Santa was also good to Courtney and I. After we opened the presents we relaxed and played with our new toys.

After noon, Courtney's parents and sister(and Josh) came over for lunch and more presents. Aedan got the BatCave(he says its his favorite) and Ella got a little Einsten's rider(she loved it). We had Turkey and all the fixings.

The McGurr family of Indiana wishes everyone Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. We want to thank everyone who called, sent a card or said hi.
